Thanksgiving outfit

Just the other day, I pulled out my burgundy waterfall cardigan for my daily outfit and it inspired me to create a Thanksgiving look. I always like to dress up a little for the holidays even if we do not go to parties or have fancy dress occasions. So I took the same jeans and cardigan and made a few changes to elevate the look. The first look was what I wore for a day running a couple errands and doing some organization at the house.

We will be going to the beach the week of Thanksgiving as we did last year and most likely we will return to GTs for their Thanksgiving brunch buffet. the food was delicious and plentiful, we sat oudoors by the bay and there was also a space for children to play which made for a relaxing and enjoyable time with family. I hope the weather will cooperate again this summer!

As you see I switched shoes and the tee. These Vince Camuto booties are comfortable even though I am not used to wearing such a tall heel and they dress up the look. The black tee just looks a little more classy to me. I also switched the bracelet to my Alison and Aubrey bracelet.

I received the bracelet in a giveaway and love the different textures in it. The magnetic clasp makes it easy to put on and off. I love the sparkles when it catches the light.

It is just icing on the cake that my Nickel and Suede earrings match my cardigan. This is one of the first pairs I bought and I have worn them a lot more this year than last. You should check out their new holiday earrings, there are some beauties!

I had fun taking pictures in the different neighbors’ yards for this post: the rain out off and the lighting was perfect with the overcast sky.

I am looking forward to resting and relaxing in style at the beach. I always have fun planning my outfits and I hope the weather will be mild with no rain in sight. Who knows though, if the weather in Georgia is something to go by, it might be unpredictable! What will you be wearing for Thanksgiving? Casual, dressy, a little of both?
