4th of July Decor

Today I am sharing my patriotic decor. I usually pull it out a few weeks before the 4th, sometimes remember to have it out for Memorial Day weekend as well as Labor Day and Veteran’s Day. What I like about it is that all of it was budget friendly and I feel that it is complete so I do not have to invest any more money each year.

My front door wreath was a find at Aldi 2 summers ago for less than $20! I love it: it is wooden so I have to make sure to store it well but it has held up well. It makes a pretty statement on my front door.

I made two sets of 3 jars and have them displayed on my front porch bistro table set as well as my side porch set. Such an easy DIY project: pour beans in large ziplock bag, add paint, shake! Do that with each color then put them on some wax paper on cookie sheet to dry. I used jars I had around the house.

I found this cute little front door mat at Aldi for $6.99. I am keeping my red boots next to it since I usually go through that porch door to go pick blackberries and I need the boots for protection from thorns and possible insects and snakes.

Indoors I just added some flags homemade or free ones given to us to my existing summer decor which is currently lemons and navy stripes. This little flag and a few others were made by my children a couple of years ago.

Nothing simpler than some flags in a mason jar!

I added a couple flags in my living room too. I like that my decor is simple but tasteful! Sometimes less is more! I am also proud that most of it was DIY or very inexpensive!

Do you decorate for the 4th of July?

A bientôt!
