Winter Loungewear

While I had to bow out of the Fab 40s group, I decided to still share my lounge wear outfit since I had already shot it and I typically don’t share such casual looks.  We often dress up and the fall and winter are months when we aspire to be cozy and warm! I typically get in my loungewear earlier in the day in the cooler months so I decided to share my favorite joggers (I do not typically wear these out and about) with one of my thrifted sweatshirts.

My favorite place to hang out even when it is cooler is on my patio in my egg chair. Still can’t believe I found it at the Kroger grocery store this summer and for a steal! When it is colder, I cozy up with a blanket and extra layers. I bought these blankets for Nordstrom a few years ago and still love them. They are soft and wash well but of course wait till a sale to get them, which is now! They come in a variety of colors and I need just ordered one more for my youngest!

Loungwear for me is something with an elastic waistband: these joggers fit the bill. Here is the link but it appears that my print doesn’t exist anymore: they are a couple years old. They are nice and thick and just enough stretchy.

The Caslon hoodie was thrifted at Goodwill last year. I still remember that Goodwill haul as I spent $40 and the cashier gave me a senior discount. All were fall tops and sweaters that I need to rotate in my outfits over the next few months. I think there were a couple I never wore last year.

I probably enjoy reading the most in the fall as the days get darker and cooler and it is a nice way to relax. I mostly read inspirational fiction but also enjoy historical fiction. I don’t read many serious books just an occasional parenting book and by occasional I mean one every few years!
