Styling One Dress 6 Ways For Fall

It had been a while since I wrote one of these posts showing you how to wear one item several ways. I really had fun this go around with this thrifted Banana Republic dress! Styling this dress 6 ways for fall was a fun exercise! I wasn’t sure it would fit me when I tried it on but like Jodie says, when thrifted do not pay attention to size and just try it on! I am glad I did as I love the print and color and how versatile this dress will be pretty much year round.

Short Blazer for Warmer Weather

This is how I wore it to church in August but I wore my grey Blowfish sandals instead for these tan booties. I like how the tan blazer is reflected in the shoes and how the earrings are a close match to the colors in the dress. The dress is sleeveless.

Colorful Denim Jacket

This might be my favorite way: I just love my yellow jacket and cannot wait to wear it again! Yes, there is no yellow in the print of the dress but yellow/mustard is a neutral in my book!

Denim Jacket and Booties

So many things I am excited to wear this fall! Like these marvelous booties I bought when I met Yenni from IdeasValyen! She has some beautiful unique pieces on her website (I bought a beautiful leather embroidered backpack purse c/o my mom in law for my birthday). Jeans jackets come in all styles and colors and this one was thrifted quite a few years ago.

Styling a dress with olive

Just like mustard, olive goes with everythings! A fun pair of sneakers and a casual jacket complete this look.

Lightweight Ivory Jacket

A similar look with cream! I bought this lightweight jacket during a 40% sale from Purple Ash Boutique. I have it is the medium and will be able to wear sweaters under.

Moto Jacket

Last is a look with my moto jacket and a pair of booties reflecting that color. If you noticed, most of my outfits today were bookended by the same color in the jacket and shoes. You may choose to do that are do contrast those two pieces. It was fun seeing a versatile one dress can be! And before you leave, here is a closer look of my gorgeous embroidered booties!
