Non Denim Pants Styles for Spring and Summer

Good morning! I am looking forward to the weekend as today is the last day of school and tomorrow is the start of our summer break! I cannot believe how fast this year has gone and that next year, I will have a senior in high school, a 7th grader, a 4th grader and a kindergartner! Time flies and being a parent has been both a challenge and an incredible journey. I pray for God’s blessings upon my children, their growth and their choices in life. But, back to fashion! Today, I am sharing some inspiration for some non denim pants ideas. I will not be linking any of these pieces as they were shopped from my closet and most of them are a year or more or are thrifted. I am just hoping to remind you of some fun options that you might have in your closet or you might thrift or buy.

Joggers

Most eveyone has a pair of joggers! This pair is a little different than my other pair as it is linen and pink (vs grey or black). I’ve worn different things with it but my favorite way is to pair a bodysuit with it or a tank top! I often pair sneakers with my joggers but sandals work well too and are less warm.

Printed Pants

People often mistake these Old Navy Pixie pants for leggings. The print is really fun and I have worn many colors with it, pink, gold, navy and even stripes. I wore grey on a grey spring day but the idea is that wearing a printed pair of pants can be a lot more interesting than wearing a pair of jeans!

Palazzo Pants

These palazzo pants were thrifted. They are now the only pair of palazzo pants I own as my other pairs were paper bag waists and I just do not like the style on me. I like that this pair is more fitted which is less bulky. I typically wear a muted top with it, but I thought it would be fun to depart from my usual fitted top and wear something more flowy on top.

Statement Pants

I wasn’t sure what to title this category but I thought statement pants encompassed the three pairs. My favorite is this red pair which you have seen before if you read my blog regularly. I don’t think I have worn them with a stripe top yet which surprises me: I like this outfit!

Both the red pair of pants and these fun navy/white pants were second hand finds. These are so comfy! The shorter length and fun tie detail makes them really easy to wear for all kind of occasions. I really should try to dress the blue pants up one day. Heels and a lacy top? Be on the lookout for a post on how to wear these 5 different ways next month!

These April Cornell pants make me think of pajamas and I typically only style them with white or black. Since we’ve had some cooler mornings, I decided to wear my sweatshirt with them. So comfy!
