Kids size shoes!
Today’s post is a short one but is a little nugget of gold. If you wear a women’s size shoe 7 or smaller, did you know you can shop in the kid’s department? I have found that useful and budget friendly when wanting a pair of brand name shoes such as Keen or Hunter boots. For a while I wanted to purchase some Keen water shoes but did not want to spend the $80 to $120 price tag so I shopped in the kids’ section and found a pair for $50! I ended up with 2 pairs and use them on hikes, water rafting trips and walk! The same with my red hunter boots: they were about half the price in children’s size.
Just subtract 2 sizes to find your size: I wear 6 ½ or 7 in women’s and wear size 5 in girls!
A bientot!

Hah!! We are totally on the same wavelength. You know how Payless is going out of business? We went and I snagged a pair of blue sandals in the girls department…for $8!!
I read that one thrifter even checks out men’s/boys shoes. It’s a great reason to look at everything!

Smart shopper! I usually don’t think about it unless I am looking at a higher price item or looking at clearance at Target then I look at the children’s items

I had to laugh because I outgrew the kid’s department when I was about 11! But good tip for my small-footed friends.

I have always had small feet! Now my niece and my son, that is another matter: had to shop in the adult department just like you at around 11!
