Cardigan wrap, 4 ways
Today I am sharing a cardigan wrap my best friend Veronique from Jolikrea made me as an early birthday gift while I visited her in France. I am always amazed and impressed with how talented she and other seamstresses are! I can barely sew a button!
Here she is at work, sewing the hem. She chose this cool light fabric knowing that we live in the south so I could have more use of the cardigan. It was fascinating to see how fast she was able to sew this. She cut the fabric the previous day and I sat while she sewed the hem and sleeves.
The cardigan can be worn full length. Here I wore with jeans since it was cool in the north of France but I can see it with shorts for an evening at the beach or in the north Georgia mountains. I really love the pattern. Now if I look a little tired in these pictures, it is because this was towards the end of our trip after going to bed late most nights talking to my friend.
The ends of the cardigan can be tied is a small knot and then wrapped around the neck to make a short waterfall cardigan. I need a little practice to perfect how it should lay.
This is one of my favorite ways to wear the cardigan: you put it backwards and cross it at the back and tie it in the front! You can also lower the shoulders to make it a off the shoulder cardigan (view this video for 9 different looks instructions).
This is the same idea as the way above but crossing in front and tying the cardigan in the back. I definitely need to watch the video a few times and practice to perfect the way the cardigan should look in the 9 + different ways.
Thank you, Veronique for this awesome early birthday present! I love it!
A bientôt!

Now that’s a fabulous friend to have. Don’t you love how you can start sewing a piece and finish it so fast? And for this piece to be so versatile, that’s what makes it amazing.

Yes! It was amazing: a rectangle with circles cut out for the sleeves, the sleeves and va va voom, done! Granted she is an expert!

I had seen something similar but never owned one. She was wearing one and I complimented her, next I knew she wanted to make me one!
