November favorites
Just a reminder that there will be no posts next week! As I write this I am praying my children will not bring any germs home these last 2 days of school before the break!
Today, I am sharing some of my favorites for this month of November. It has been a busy month it seems with some outings, family times with the sisters in law and a little bit of shopping.
Afternoon outside time
If the day is not too cold nor rainy we have spent at least an hour outside in the afternoon. The children play on their scooters or bikes, throw the wifffle ball around or play in the sandbox or trampoline. I enjoy the time from a chair with a book and keep an eye on my toddler who doesn’t always stay where he should be. The fresh air and sunny skies help everyones mood and helps us keep a balance between school, electronics time and outside time. I also have taken more walks/runs outside lately instead of exercising in the gym.
Walmart white sneakers
These have been sold out online however depending on your store, you might find them! I was taking my mom to her appointments at the hospital and went into that Walmart and these were there in every size. The Time and Tru sneakers are comfortable and trendy. I first saw these on MamaLovesShopping and was so glad I found them! The litlle leopard stripe detail is found and just add that little extra to an outfit. The star ones would be cute too!
Game night(s)
We have been playing games almost every night lately after the baby is in bed! It took us 3 days to complete a Monopoly game and last night we started playing marbles which we hadn’t played in a year are so. I see improvement in everyones mood and relationships when I make time to play with them. Since my husband works out of town during the week, I have that time to devote to the children. We usually play from 30 minutes to an hour. Investing quality with the children is so important!
Day trips
We enjoyed several local day trips this month. I am not sure if we will have any planned for next month but I sure enjoyed these outings. It is always nice to get away from the house since my daily life revolves around the children and errands. My favorite this month was probably the rock garden.

I agree outdoor time is so good for the soul! Glad you got to make the time to spend outside! The joys of Monopoly… a fun game but it takes sooooo long!! Those sneakers from Walmart looks so fun and fashionable! What a great find! I might have to check my store and try them on if they have them!
Wishing you a great beach getaway and Happy Thanksgiving!

I saw the star ones in store today and they are sparkly and just not all that. But I do love my white and leopard ones. You might have to check a few stores though for them.

I wore them quite a lot on our Thanksgiving break. Might need a back up pair!

What cute shoes! The boys are a little young for games but we are slowly introducing them to the games we have – they enjoy them, even if they have to be short as their attention span isn’t the best, haha! playing over a few nights might work! 🙂
Hope that you have a wonderful weekend and have a great getaway!

My 5 year old does pretty well and sometimes he just observes us depending on the games.

I enjoyed reading about your time with your children and made me realise why I still miss mine although they’ve been long moved out of home! Thank you for sharong!

I hope the children do treasure these times: my 8 year old does ask when we will go back to visit certain places like the republic of Georgia and also towns in the US he has really enjoyed.

So funny, judging from the title of your blog, your name and then the photo of the rock castle, I deduced that you were living in Europe, if not France. I tried to enlarge the Rome City Brewing Company sign but still couldn’t make out a location. Then I noticed on the side bar mention of Rock Garden in Calhoun, Ga. Ha!! LOVE it!!
Those Walmart tennies are absolutely the best. Going to check our store. Hoping they have them in stock, très chic…and comfy, too??? Yes, please.

They are comfy! I am considering going back to that same store and get a back up pair! I grew up in France but now live in the state of Georgia! I have a couple posts about growing up in France and Mexico and several about our last trip to France and Spain this past summer.
