Peepers Readers: My Review

Today, I am sharing my experience with Peepers readers. Once I turned 40, I soon realized the need for readers when reading a book, using my phone and reading on my computer. Now that I am 47, I make sure to have a pair of readers everywhere: in my purse, by my computer, on my nightstand or simply on my head! I wear contacts but switching to progressive contacts would be costly and might lead to headaches. Readers allow me to read everything from ingredients and recipes, blog posts and texts!

My main issue with the cheap readers you find in grocery stores/drugstores has been that they often are not sturdy and stretch out, and do not stay on my head. They also do not have lots of choices. I bought a couple pairs a couple of years ago from Peepers and was very impressed by the quality of the glasses. The try on feature is fun when you are unsure what you would like.

This new pair (gifted) is the Desert Sunrise and part of the new Spring collection. I decided to try something a little different than what I am used to. I really like the color and larger frame size. Do I like them as much as my older pair?

I am not sure! They are lighter than my other pair which makes me a little unsure of their sturdiness. However, I have worn them for a few weeks and they stay on my head, so lighter might not be a bad thing. I didn’t realize that Peepers also carried reader sunglasses which I thought was really cool as I often read outside on my egg chair just like in the pictures above. I am very pleased with this new addition to my readers collection.

Here is my older pair which you often see on top of my head when I take pictures for the blog. I often forget I have readers on my person because I need them so often and put them on top of my head 90% of the time. Do you wear readers? Do you have any particular brands you have liked?
