The world through my 17 year old’s eyes
Ever wondered how your children view the world? Do they see beauty where we see beauty? Do they take the time to stop and “smell the roses”? I asked my son to give me 5 pictures for this post and I was pleasantly pleased that he does what I do: he takes the time to admire the beauty around him sometimes and with the ease of having a camera because he has a phone, he sometimes immortalizes that moment with a picture.

He’s taken some cool pictures in the past but he couldn’t pull them up on his phone.

What a cool idea for a post! Thanks for dropping by my blog this morning. I added the color of the floors to the post for future reference!

Awesome since my husband said to ask the color from you: I am going to go back and write it down. Thanks for stopping by!

He’s pretty fun that way: I pay a buck per picture… any bit helps for a non working kid especially that it is not work =)

I love the shot of the sky on fire! What a cool thing to have your son do! The teacher in me would love to see him write about what he saw and why he chose that. I wonder if kids today will be better or worse at photography with the ability to take photos all the time. My youngest has been buying old cameras (the kind you have to adjust the aperture and focus manually). He gets some really unique shots, but it’s an expensive hobby. You have to buy the film and then pay to have it developed. Thanks for sharing these, Mireille!

The plan was to have him write something but of course, he is always busy and it was hard enough to get the pictures from him!
