7 Days of Christmas Looks

Between this post and a couple more styling pieces from my closet, I hope you will be inspired look at your closet in a new way and be inspired to put together some festive looks using what you already own. Think colors (white, burgundy, red, forest green), textures (velvet, faux leather, lace) and don’t forget to look at your accessories too! In one of these outfits, I used a pair of “summer” earrings to add texture!

Christmas Date

I have several church appropriate skirts that I can wear for Christmas and I have shared those outfits in the past (here and here) so today, I want to share 2 new Christmas date outfits.

You have seen both of these skirts on the blog several times and I combined the faux leather one with the teal top below in a post last year here. I like having a couple fun pieces in my closet that I wear going out to dinner with my husband even if I do not wear them very often. I added those details I mentioned at the beginning of the post, texture through lace and my earrings.

Festive in an Unusual Color

I actually wore this for a funeral last week, but I have worn the dress before with a fluffy white topper and thought it looked pretty and festive with my scarf from the Republic of Georgia.

Red Sweater

A festive everyday look combines my red sweater with white pants. The heels with the embroidered back always adds a touch of whimsy and fun. The sweater is not very warm and I really should have added a layer under it.

Teal and Silver Top

I mentioned this top earlier: I love the sparkly bodice and the rich color. I dressed it down with a pair of thrifted denim, and wore my combat boots since it was cold: they have fur at the top. Looks like my little carpet needs updates and my leaves need to be blown! Hopefully this week as things are going to be a lot more calm around the house!

Silver Top with a Bow

The back on this sweater is so cute! Once again, I added dark denim, this time my cuffed jeans and my comfortable Vivaia booties. I wore this last Friday when my brother and his family visited!

Plaid Dress

My dress is not very festive on its own so I added a red scarf! Of course, I had to choose my cognac boots and added my fleece lined tights! The dress felt a little short so I added a thrifted ruffle skirt under it.
