Spring and summer decor

About a month ago, my husband received a giftcard from a customer and I put that giftcard right to work. I headed to Ross and updated my non existent Spring decor.

The first thing I wanted were some new throw pillows for the couch. I selected two gray ones that will  work for other seasons and chose a large yellow throw pillow too. I had found another smaller yellow pillow on clearance at Walmart earlier that week so it was perfect!

Next I needed a few things to add to the mantle and table behind the couch: I like the sunshiny color of these fake tulips and the little sign sums up what we should do each day.

I used items on hand to create this vignette on the dining table and I found this yellow sunflower in one of my storage box.

Lastly, I found a pillow at Home Depot for our front porch. The sign I made during the Christmas break with my cricut machine.

I do not like to spend a lot on decorations but I do like to have decorations for the different seasons and times of the year so I try to buy things on sale after season or as in this case with the help of a giftcard.

My favorite wreath is my 4th of July wreath that I found at Aldi last year for less than $20 and it is made of wood curls painted red white and blue: really pretty!
