Inspired by Pinterest: White Beach Pants and Stripes
I have an old pair of white linen pants that I call my beach pants because they make me want to go to the beach, put my feet in the sand and relax. I bought them at Target years ago and while they are not pristine white anymore, they still look good and are very comfortable. Wanting to create new outfits from things in my closet, I did a little search on PInterest and found 3 outfits that I could easily copy. Here is the first one and the source is elleapparelblog.com
White pants? Check. Cognac sandals and tote? Check. Stripe tee and denim jacket? Check. Cap? Not a plain one but check!
We went to the Indian Mounds once again to take pictures since my oldest want to head there and I gave my 9 year old and 6 year old opportunities to take pictures with my phone. All of the pictures in this post are taken by my oldest.
I love it when I realize that certain things in my closet are old but I still reach for them and enjoy wearing them: good purchases mean I didn’t waste money! 5 year old (or more) pants: indeed a good purchase!
It had been a long while since I had looked for inspiration on Pinterest. The key is so have a specific search to get better results: I typed in white beach pants and right away found 3 looks I wanted to copy. As I slow down my shopping this month, I will be looking for different summer looks to copy. Next will probably be denim shorts outfits and printed shorts outfits: give new life and style to old favorites in my closet.
With baggier pants I usually would wear a more form fitting top but this was my closest tee to the inspiration so I knotted it in the back. I found this ruffled striped tee at SheIn a few years ago and should copy JustPosted blog post with all the different ways it can be worn (more inspiration!!). Candace shows ten ways to wear it in her post!
The Madewell tote (which is reversible) was actually handy on this walk: I was able to throw my jacket, cap and keys in there. I had forgotten how much I like it and will put it in rotation soon.
And there you have it! Another picturesque walk in style! I will share the other 2 outfits with these pants soon! But the possibilities are endless! You can use each of these ideas with white jeans, white shorts or even white skirts: white on your bottom half is so versatile! And even with kids, you can stay decently clean to where you do not have to throw out your clothes after one wear lol!
A bientôt!

What a fun, casual look you were able to copy. So fun that your son was good with taking the photos. I like the photo on the board sidewalk ;).

That board side walk is pretty neat! The first time we walked on it, my 2 year old tried to walk on only one board at a time: took a while!
