Can it get any prettier?! Cotton Fields at Sunset Take 2
Last week, before the time change, my teen and I decided to take a quick walk down the hill to our neighborhood. As we were going down we noticed that the sun was going to set fairly soon so we decided to cross the street and bridge and run to the park with the cotton field where I took pictures a couple of weeks ago. And it did not disappoint. Since everyone enjoyed the pictures last time, I think you will love these even more.
The timing was perfect! Unbeknownst to us, though my 7 year old got sick at the house while we were enjoying these views and with very grateful heart, I was really glad my sister in law was there to take care of him until we got back and she even cleaned up most of it for me too!
I handed over the phone to my son who took the panorama picture above. We were discussing how clouds make sunsets interesting as long as there was just the right amount of them.
It is interesting how just a few weeks ago, we were wondering if the cotton crop had done well this year and now, it is just gorgeous in every field. Just like the trees, I guess fall came a little later for them.
We got the call from my sister in law to head back ASAP just after the following pictures so we jogged back most of the way home.
The colors were glorious! None of these pictures were edited. My son adjusted the lighting on the phone so it would reflect the reality of the colors as he took the pictures but that was it.
The sunsets here practically rival the sunsets at the beach. The big difference is that at the beach, I can usually enjoy the sunset while here, I feel like I am needed at home and have to rush back and not stay too long.
Postcard perfect and my new screen saver on my computer. Just wow!
The last pictures before we jogged back. I hope you enjoyed this sunset with me. Find the beauty around you: you may not have cotton fields but the changing colors in the trees can be just as beautiful if you take the time to look around you.
A bientôt!

Hope your little boy is OK!

Thanks, Penny! That is why I enjoy seeing pictures of where others live: the scenery is so different than ours. And my son thankfully was just sick for a few hours: probably a little case of food poisoning!

These pictures are beautiful. The cotton candy looks amazing and just wow! That’s a bummer that your little one got sick. I hope is he doing better today? Sending big hugs along your way mama.
