Thrifted Olive Tunic Dress for a Museum Outing

I did a search on my blog and it appears I never showcased this olive tunic dress I thrifted a year or so ago. If I remember correctly I spent maybe 3 dollars and bought it when I was thrifting with my mom. A couple weekends ago, I decided to finally take advantage of the Bank of America free 1st Saturday of the month admission to museums. Sadly, it only gives free admission to the cardholder(s), so my husbands and my tickets were free, but we did have to pay for the boys.

The Tellus Museum is a local science museum with permanent and visiting exhibits. It also has a digital planetarium and a solar house. I shared more about the museum in this post.

I thought it would be fun to take some blog pictures in front of the large vehicles that are permanently parked on the sidewalk next to the parking lot. This first truck is gargantuous!

Since I knew this was a busy afternoon (museum, pick up food from a restaurant and go to church), I wore something that could be worn for each place. Of course, I chose my Adidas Brava (shared numerous times now on the blog) because they go with everything and are comfortable.

The dress is a little short in front, so I have been wearing it with these capri leggings most often. I mirrored the white with a white cuff bracelet. Wearing pants or shorts under a short dress makes it more practical for everyday wear.

We really had a great time that afternoon. It had been several years since some of us had come to this museum. We have had a membership several years, and the boys come here for school field trips, but it had been at least a couple years since my last visit. The visiting exhibits keep it interesting as it is not a big museum.

A bientôt!
