Thrifted Dress: Perfect for Any Occasion

When I found this dress late April, I knew right away that the style would be versatile and perfect for any type of occasion. Think birthday party, baptism, wedding, graduation and even on a simple Sunday. The only thing you need to change to create some diversity and maybe dress it up a little more for one occasion or another is change your accessories. A purse, a shoe, your jewelry will instantly create a new look.

Of course for colder days, you can also add a top layer like a denim jacket or a moto jacket. I think this is one of those dresses that can be worn year round. I first wore it to Sunday church and then to one of my son’s scholarship banquet. That day, I just change my sandals for a flatter pair and carried my circle straw bag.

While these shoes are high (Target, last year), they are very comfortable to wear thanks to the block heel. I almost didn’t buy this purse when I was at Goodwill in Arizona because I am picky about my purses, but I really like it. The gold zippers are fun and keep things organized.

The embroidered cuff from Just Be Youtiful boutique is a perfect compliment to the dress and purse. Another item that I hesitated about, but am loving!

I even wore my pink aviators: I had almost forgotten about these because they are not the sunglasses I usually wear when driving or playing outside.

I received several compliments on my dress: I don’t wear pink very often but this is the perfect bubblegum color! The length is perfect to be appropriate for anything and I love where the waist is as well as the snap to keep the wrap modest!
