Linen Skirt for Fall 3 Ways
I came across this linen skirt at Cato’s Fashion this summer and tried it in store, but the size medium was too large. However, I liked the possibilities of the skirt so much that I decided to order it online in XS and have it shipped to the store to save shipping fee. I had no idea that it would take a month for me to receive it as the company was changing both carriers and warehouses. I am glad though that I did not cancel the order because I think there are unlimited ways to style this skirt.
With a peasant blouse
I could have worn this skirt with any tank top or bodysuit in my closet as well as any of my blouses, but I decided to chose pieces in my closet that had orange/rust color. I was surprised how much I like this combination as the top is not fitted: this is my favorite from today’s post!
I think the maxi length and A line shape will make the choice of shoes unlimited! And the linen fabric is thick enough to work most months of the year.
With a cardigan
Since the skirt is high waisted (to my belly button), this crop cardigan works really well with it! Peek at my embroidered booties: they have been on the blog many a time! A colorful beaded necklace adds a little color at the neck.
I enjoy finding ways to wear items in my closet: it usually affirms whether I like everything that is hanging. Sometimes I try a top over and over with different things and realize it works (or doesn’t work!).
With a embellished tee
I don’t absolutely love this outfit, but I wanted to keep with the color scheme and I wanted to choose a top that would show off the belt that came with the skirt. The waistband is elastic and the belt can be swapped out with another one: even more versatility for this skirt.
Just like white, I think any bright color or white or black will pair with this tan linen skirt: definitely a great buy!

Very nice. We always advised women to buy linen clothing a size smaller as it always runs wider.

I never thought of that!

That skirt was definitely a great buy and smart to get the size you needed that way.

I was a couple years ago so bought several pieces. My friends just gave me a light sweater vest that is the perfect shade of rust so will be sharing that soon!
