Dress and Kimono with White Western Boots

White cowboots outfit inspiration, again? Yes, please! I am hope you are not tired of these boots because they are yet again making an appearance, this time in a completely thrifted outfit! I originally shared this pink bubblegum dress here back in June and have worn it several times since then. It’s a great simple fit and the little textured polka dots give it some interest.

To create a fall outfit, I decide to add a kimono, the idea having been inspired by an outfit I saw on IG last month. I do not wear my kimonos much lately, but I still love them!

I decided not to add any bracelets because I thought the ruffled sleeves on the kimono and dress were details enough. I love how adding a belt for contrast tied in with the boots. Can you believe this outfit is thrifted head to toe? Even the earrings were a gift!

Since it had been foggy every morning the previous week, I had planned to take these pictures around 8 am with fog. Of course, this was the one cloudy and non foggy day, but the sunrise turned out spectacular for pictures!

My 10 year old wants to buy a 3D printer, so he has been jumping at every opportunity to take blog pictures for me. Between that and Christmas/birthday money, he should be able to buy one in about 3-4 months!

I love that this dress had a snap at the v-neck, I do not need to wear a Halftee and I feel perfectly covered. I thought I would be too warm with the kimono in church, but with the air conditioner still being on, it was perfect.

This particular Sunday was a busy one: it started with a quick stop at CVS, then taking these pictures before church. We then rode to church and visited after. Back home to help my 10 year old pack for his 3 day school trip. While doing that, laundry was added to the machine. My oldest came home for part of the weekend and he needed some new shoes. We came back just in time for me to take a 2 mile walk with a friend before taking the 13 year old to a party. I then was requested to play the Nintendo Switch before picking up my son from the party. Of course, some preparation for dinner was needed at some point, but thankfully it was a grilling night! All those little things added up to make me a tired mommy!

So anytime I get to enjoy such beauty just a few minutes from my house, I am thankful to God for where I lived and for the beauty in nature that surrounds us. It really makes for some special moments and I love to soak those moments in.

A bientôt!
