Hoodie Blazer Styling

I bought this hoodie blazer combo at the beginning of Februry at TJmaxx and while it was on the clearance rack, it was still $29.99. After trying it on and seeing that it fit perfectly (and that the hoodie portion can be unzipped and taken off), I decided to purchase it. I don’t have anything like it in my closet and I knew I would enjoy wearing it for a while to come.

Nothing like posting and forgetting to write and post with only pictures! Today is digital day and teacher workday for school, so we did not have to get up early and are taking it easy this morning. It worked out well as the early morning was very stormy with high winds and rain.

I found inspiration for this outfit on Pinterest which was a great way for me to wear this hand me down pair of pants which I don’t wear very often. I really enjoy wearing my sneakers in the spring as long as it is not raining since most of my sneakers are canvas. Everyone should have a pair of white sneakers in my opinion: they go with everything!

I’ve been rotating my purses a lot this winter and beginning of spring and this black one will be put away for a bit. I probably still will pull it out every so often, but my colorful ones and my tan ones will be heavier in rotation. I really like the feeling of rediscovering an old friend in my accessories (purses and shoes) and my clothes. It makes them feel fresh each season!

This was a short post since it is last minute: the pictures had been uploaded for a few weeks, but I can’t believe I didn’t double check my post: I usually re-read it a couple times to edit it for mistakes!
