White for Fall with the Sunday Showcase

,A couple weeks ago, I met up with my friend Rachel (The Faux French Girl) in Chattanooga at Renaissance Park for a picnic and blog pictures. I typically use my phone for pictures so it was a treat to have someone take pictures with a real camera. A big thank you for these pictures! I have been so impressed with the beautiful parks in Chattanooga by the river that plan to bring the boys back up in December. It has felt so busy lately and I am looking forward to the school breaks coming up.

I do not wear my white jeans in the summer as it is too hot.  I have been enjoying wearing them now that the weather has cooled off. I love white with brights but also with neutrals so today’s look features this pretty blouse  with the gorgeous sleeves. The blouse was a birthday at a local boutique.

It’s an oversized fit so I like to do a little front tuck and I chose my fun lug sole sneakers to carry the tan color. I was happy to not make a mess while eating our picnic. I have 2 tops that have suffered some mishaps lately and had to be creative with. One I turned into a crop top, while I added pins to the other, we shall see if I wear them that way of if they are destined for the trash bin.

Meeting Rachel on a Monday was a great way to start the week. Instead of doing chores, I had a pretty drive up to Chattanooga listening to music and enjoyed a delicious latte at her favorite coffee shop. We then we walked around the park before settling by the river. I really need to take advantage of our pretty weather.

I am about ready for a trim. I tend to get my haircut before vacations so will probably call my friend this week.

Chattanooga has definitely changed in the last 20 years. It really has become a pretty city with some fun shops, different neighborhoods and parks. There are also some attractions like the aquarium you see in the background. My favorite is the parks but the bridges are a pretty sight too.

While I do wear a variety of types of jeans, I think skinny jeans might be my favorite style for everyday. I find them really easy to work with and all types of shoes work well with them.
