Maxi Skirt and Bodysuit: A Day in Batumi, Georgia
I reached for this Amazon bodysuit several times on this trip. It is several years old and I probably need to buy it again, it is from the brand Mangopop. I tried it in white but did not like it, but I have worn this one over and over for several years. I love the square neck and the short sleeve length is perfect. Needless to say, it goes with everything! The time we spent in Batumi was very relaxing. The Hilton had views of this park on one side and the Black Sea on the other. It was right off the Batumi Boulevard. The accomodations and amenities were really…

OTTD recap, July 6-11
As I am trying to rotate through everything in my closet, I thought I would share a week of outfits once again, but this time in real time. Last time, I shared them a month after I wore them. I really like what I came up with, my goal was to wear things I hadn’t worn much or hadn’t worn yet this summer. These are the outfits I wore this past week. Saturday I tend to wear several outfits in a day on the weekend as we may have different activities going on and we usually go to church in the evening. Last week, we decided to go tubing down…

Black and Red Outfit: Printed Skirt with Bodysuit
The first morning in Georgia, we took the steep way up and down to the Tbilisi botanical gardens. Since I only brought two pairs of sneakers (a white pair and a black pair) it was very easy to decide on shoes. These little Jellypop tennis shoes didn’t have as good as a grip as my Adidas, but I never did slip on the cobblestones. I chose them the days I knew we could come across more dusty paths. I only wore this skirt once before our trip to make it special and it sure was the thrifted find of the year. The only reason I haven’t worn it since then…

Georgia Outfits: Packing in a Carry On
When traveling internationally, I always try to pack in a carry-on: I like to know where my belongings are, so I usually do not check in a suitcase. I planned my outfits knowing that I wanted to have several skirts on hand for the days I knew we would be visiting churches and knowing that the temperature would be in the lower 80s. This is a long post, so grab a coffee and enjoy! Traveling Outfits I planned my outfits for the flights knowing it would be a long travel day. Including the layovers, it was probably about 24 hours going and 20 coming back (the 2rd outfit was for…

A Week of Outfit
I thought it would be fun to share a week of outfits: Jodie from Jtouchofstyle share her daily outfits every Saturday and I often get inspiration from her to try new combinations with my clothes. This week of outfits dates back to mid May, but all of these outfits could easily be worn all summer long. I hope it inspires you to shop your closet! Saturday I actually wore 4 outfits that day, but I am not sharing my running clothes nor my yard work clothes. I wore the linen joggers and tank to take my son for a blood test and my dress for church. I hadn’t worn my…

Summer Alternatives to Shorts with the Ageless Style Link Up
When you thrift and photograph a pretty dress the same day Leslie chooses a theme for the June Ageless Link Up, it is meant to be! I bought this NWT dress (looks like an Asian brand) at Uptown Cheapskate about exactly 2 months before this post. I was drawn to the embroidery and the fun shape of the dress. I tend to wear fitted dresses, but decided to try this and I decided it was too fun and different to pass up. I thought it would be perfect for Pascha (Orthodox Easter) with either white knee length biker shorts or capri leggings. I have a pair of each for these…

Another Thrift Haul: Making Smart Choices
I recently shared my finds from thrifting with Jodie in Arizona. Now as you may have noticed, I use the term haul loosely: in my case, I typically do not come home from the thrift store with a car full of things. I usually probably find 5 or so items and if I have been to several stores, maybe closer to 10 items. A week after the trip to Arizona, I decided to stop by Revive in Woodstock and check out their selection. To my happy surprise, they had a great spring selection of skirts, dresses and tops. I was looking for spring colors and hoping to find some prints.…

Thrifted Find Looks from Arizona
Today is my son’s high school graduation! I more than likely won’t be spending much time on my computer. Tears will be shed tonight, hopefully, I will think to add some tissues to my purse. I am also very excited! I wrote this post a while back after wearing all of my finds from my trip to Arizona to visit Jodie. It sure is fun shopping with friends and thrifted is such a fun way to shop as not it is not only budget friendly but quite a treasure hunt. Lemon Clutch The disadvantage of shopping with thrifters like Jodie and Cathie is that they have a great eye for…

Sari Skirt Style: 5 Ways
There are more than 5 ways to style your reversible sari Skirt (Jodie printed me a list of 14 ways), but these are the ones I have tried so far. I am just loving the versatility of this skirt as well as the print. It is a lot of fun to wear and to surprise my friends by saying that “yes, it’s the same skirt! This skirt is from a boutique based in Arizona called Just Be You Tiful. You can find her on Facebook. Right Side Up This is the first time I wore the skirt. It was a cooler day, so I was able to wear my crochet…

2 Dressy Shorts Oufits
Most of the time, I wear my shorts with a graphic tee or maybe a light sweater in the spring and fall. Today, I wanted to share two dressy outfits with my white shorts, one I wore for the day, while the other would be more appropriate on a date night because of the choice of shoes and accessories. Just changing the shoes for both though would make the outfits more casual. Both outfits feature thrifted tops. OOTD I just bought this fun top last month after my dentist appointment: there are 2 thrift stores next to the office and I do not get to go very often as it…
