April Sentence a Day

4/1 We went shopping downtown (I found a scarf and two purses), had lunch then went hiking with my sister in law and her 2 children.

4/2 We planted some sunflower seeds, a couple tomato plants and some zinnias.

4/3 Had fun at Lakepoint station with the boys.

4/4 and 4/5 Sleepover at one of my best friend’s house. My oldest son has been friends with her son since they were 4. We went on a mural hunt in Athens, GA.

4/6 Nearing the end of our spring break. We walked around downtown for our little town’s BBQ and Brews festival. The boys had Kona Ice and their faces painted.

4/7 N. is learning how to ride a bike. It won’t be long until he can do it!

4/9 Rain and thunderstorms, no soccer practice and game. Can’t say I was disappointed!

4/10 Walk with my friend Vassi (1 1/2 hour), so good to catch up. Then stop by the thrift store, it was 50c day and I spent $1.50!/

4/11 Field trip to the fire station and the library for my pre K boy!

4/13 Neighborhood yard sale: I bought a soccer goal for my boys and sold a few things. I went and bought a new denim jacket at Target!

4/14 Took a couple pictures that I will be using for my outfit combos for France: the azaleas were beautiful at the monastery!

4/15 Taking care of my car: oil change day. Next week: new tires!! Internet is out: realizing I spend a lot of time on my phone

4/16 Soccer game: I am my son’s team coach and we have been undefeated so far this season! Only one more game. Tonight though I felt bad for the other team and started cheering for them!

4/17 Life of a mom: totally forgot about dropping off Easter egg for my son’s party. Ended up spending too much because I had to go to closest store! Got my internet back!

4/18 More blog posts pictures, this time for the #thriftedchicstylechallenge

4/19 Egg hunt at N, school, errands and a visit from my parents

4/20 Soccer was canceled due to wet fields so we head to Lakepoint station to play blacklight mini golf and some arcade games.

4/21 Orthodox Palm Sunday. Salmon for dinner!

4/22 Took advantage of after Easter sales to buy some decor!

4/23 Nothing memorable today!

4/24 Made cheese pascha with my two friends for our Pascha basket

4/25 Last soccer game for N. We got rained out in the middle of the game but at least I got to take a picture before we started. My first time coaching and we were undefeated for the season. Hoping to coach the same kids in the fall: it was a lot of fun!

4/26 Holy Friday

4/27 Busy day once again! Soccer, nap, pick up Georgian wine, get ready for Church

4/28 Pascha!

4/29 Going to the car wash! Little road trip at the end of the week… Will I be able to keep my car clean till then? And pictures for the #thriftedchicstyle challenge

4/30 Last day of the month! Errands, soccer game, too much eating and not enough exercising: tomorrow is a new day and a new month!

    This is such a lovely serie. I stopped with it because I never thought of taken photos but it is such fun to read and write!

      It is fun to see a glimpse of people’s life! Luckily I take a lot of pictures so I usually have enough to document most of what we do!

    Sounds like such a fun month! Love all those murals and that painted hydrant is really something.

      There were a few more but those were my favorite. My friend and I are going to plan a mural outing in Atlanta this summer!

    I live in the UK and was surprised to see the Chelsea football club logo in your photo, no wonder your team is doing well if they are anything like Chelsea!
    What a fun month you had, thanks for sharing your adventures!

      The head coach who is in charge of the program is British and I think he has trained the other coaches at the academy level (we did recreational this year). He is really good and use to play at the university level.

      Yes and one of the boys will probably move to the academy level next year which will mean more practices. Good thing it is only 5 min from our house!
