2 Dressy Shorts Oufits

Most of the time, I wear my shorts with a graphic tee or maybe a light sweater in the spring and fall. Today, I wanted to share two dressy outfits with my white shorts, one I wore for the day, while the other would be more appropriate on a date night because of the choice of shoes and accessories. Just changing the shoes for both though would make the outfits more casual. Both outfits feature thrifted tops.

I just bought this fun top last month after my dentist appointment: there are 2 thrift stores next to the office and I do not get to go very often as it is about 30 minutes away.

Sparkly shoes and bracelets definitely dress up this simple outfit. Jodie gave me this necklace and I am loving it as a great statement piece. It being grey makes it very versatile.

The round rattan purse is in great shape even though I have had it for several years. The shape makes it a little awkward for certain wallets, but it sure is cute.

I wore this on my errands and grocery run. I surprisingly did not feel overdressed!

Date Night Look

How do you dress something up? Add heels and a blazer!

I really have no idea how I was able to wear these heels for a wedding! I usually wear them for a short time when I know I can sit or I wear them for the sole purpose of pictures.

I prefer silver to gold, but wow, there is nothing like a gold cuff to make a striking statement. The small clutch was a gift and creates a third pattern in the outfit: snakeskin, embroidery and polka dots.

Both the blazer and the halter top were thrifted. Jodie actually thrifted the blazer for me a year or so ago. It has been a fun one to wear and I love the 3/4 sleeve length.

Just a heads up: I will be taking a 2 week blogging break at the beginning of June: April and May have been busy and we will be on vacation.
