Fall Decor 2020
I like to share my seasonal decor even though it is not grandiose or very exciting. As far as decor goes, I really am more of a minimalist as clutter just annoys me. I did add a couple of things to my decor this year with the plaid carpet for the front porch door mat and the felt pumpkins in my tiered tray. Fall is one of my favorite seasons as the weather makes hiking and outdoor activities more fun and I love having breakfast or any other meals on my back porch. So without further ado, here is my fall decor.
I bought the letter board a year ago at JC Penney and still enjoy putting a little saying up there. I also use it for birthdays. The pumpkins and gourds are front last year too, a Target find.
I love this neutral area in my dining room. I made those two little signs (I have two more that I will add closer to Thanksgiving and the different wooden balls were part of a pack that I divided up in the different rooms. I used to put them in a triffle bowl on my dining table but I tend to use it for desserts so this was more practical.
I typically swap out a thing or two in my tiered tray: lemons for felt gourds and a fall mat. Like I mentioned, I like to keep it simple! Since this is in the center of the dining table, it is moved at dinner time so simple is practical.
The pretty box was a gift from my brother in Thailand and decided to keep it downstairs where it can be admired more often. A nice large pumpkin on that side of the buffet table brightens the space.
A few more pretties from Thailand!
Cotton fields are just down the road. These were purchased in a local store, but they remind me of fall since they are harvested in October/November. Hoping to get more pictures in the cotton fields this year!
I am closing with my front porch. I found the wreath at Home Depot for $15 and added the new plaid carpet under my mat this year after seeing it on several porches and getting it on sale for less than $22!
There you have it, my fall decor! Simple, minimalist but makes me happy!
A bientôt!

Your fall decor looks really nice and just the right amount of fall things! I wanted to keep mine more minimal this year but my daughter wouldn’t have it, she loves decorating for fall so I let her enjoy and I may have to sneak some stuff away because it’s too much for my eyes LOL.

It’s nice that you decorate for the season Mireille. I’ve never gotten into the habit because all I could think about was work, but I’m hoping to change that soon!

So pretty, Mireille! I don’t change much around in my house for the seasons. We usually just add a few things to the living room and the front porch. We are just now deciding what to do with the porch. I love those little felt pumpkins! Thanks for linking.
