Thrifted Navy Stripe Jumpsuit

Nothing beats finding a gem while thrifting! I have been wanting another jumpsuit or a pair of overalls, and while shopping on the 70% off clearance day at Upscale Cheapskate,  I found this jumpsuit for $4! I like that I can wear it with or without something under which makes it more like overalls in my eyes. I wore this on a trip to the zoo late June and the wide legs would perfect for a hot morning.

After washing it, I did have to steam it and next time, I will make sure to steam the pockets too. I don’t think it was noticable but they felt all wrinkled inside. I went for a casual look with a white tank and sneakers since I knew it would be hot and we would be walking.

I do like that ZooAtlanta is mostly in the shade! The tree coverage is very useful in summer. We were excited that there was a Birds of Prey show while we were there: it had been several years since we had seen one. There was a lego exhibition: we had a couple favorites including a dragonfly, this pangolin and an awesome polar bear and cubs. You can see some of the lego sculpture in this post.

We love the different sculptures around the zoo. Everyone love the komodo dragon and we decided we had to tame it!

The reptile area is nice when you want in a break from the heat even if the first section is warmer as they portray creatures from the desert. The boys enjoyed the burmese tortoises and the snakes. For some reason, I love the snakes too!

We ended our visit with the little train ride which is nothing to write home about: I think the boys have outgrown it as it does just a small loop around the farm animal/alpaca area. I enjoyed wearing my jumpsuit, it was comfortable and I even got a compliment from a stranger!
