Sunday’s Best Somerset Dress from Anthropologie

I shared this dress last January when I styled it for winter with a sweater and boots in this post. Today, I am sharing how I wore it recently for church. I like this dress, but it probably is not my favorite in my closet even though I spent more for it than many of more favored thrifted dress. I think part of the reason is that I ordered this one online and did not try it before making a decision about it. I do love the color, and the metallic thread throughout.

One of my favorite accessories in summer time is a straw tote and purses. I have a nice collection and my two favorites are this one I purchased at a market in France in 2019 and another purchased in Spain on the same trip. They are practical in the summer because you can add snacks and water bottles or even a light layer for evening.

I love my sparkly studded sandals when I want a dressy flat pair of sandals. They are Steve Madden and still look brand new even though I wear them regularly in summer. They have a nice cushion which makes them perfect for standing in the choir in church.

I bought these pretty embroidered/metal earrings while in Arizona. They are the perfect match for this dress. Another wearable item to remind me of my trip! I am wearing a Halftee under the dress so I don’t have to worry about showing any cleavage (code MIREILLE20 for 20% off).

Maybe I should count how many dresses I have! I have some that I wear over and over and others I wear occasionally. I am a little curious!

I actually sat down the week I took these pictures to decide which dress I would wear at which of my sons’ school events: honor’s nights and senior events. The advantage of having a wide variety of dresses that I love is that I can rotate them all! It’s just a matter of whether the events are indoors or outdoors, whether I will be sitting or standing, eating or just observing!
