A Week of Outfit

I thought it would be fun to share a week of outfits: Jodie from Jtouchofstyle share her daily outfits every Saturday and I often get inspiration from her to try new combinations with my clothes. This week of outfits dates back to mid May, but all of these outfits could easily be worn all summer long. I hope it inspires you to shop your closet!

Saturday

I actually wore 4 outfits that day, but I am not sharing my running clothes nor my yard work clothes.

I wore the linen joggers and tank to take my son for a blood test and my dress for church. I hadn’t worn my colorful sandals at home yet so wear them for church (which was standing in the choir for an hour) was a good exercise in how comfortable they were: they are! The tank I wore with my joggers is very old and it reminded me how much I liked it so I decided to wear it for my traveling days to the republic of Georgia.

Sunday

I just shared pictures of this outfit a couple weeks ago! I love this dress!

Monday

I have worn the matching sweater to this skirt several times already but not the skirt yet so here it is. I love the versatility of a matching set that can be paired with other things. I do need to wear the outfit as a set too, though! It’s great stretchy crochet material that is fully lined.

Tuesday

I have no idea if I ever paired this kimono with my wide leg jeans, but I sure like the combination. I accessorized with all brown pieces from the sandals to the bodysuit and earrings. I wasn’t feeling great on this day and had to deal with some no fun adulting things, but thanks be to God, all was resolved.

Wednesday

It’s field day! I wore school colors and wore a pair of earrings I found on Etsy to wear for school events. I didn’t feel great so I really didn’t care about tucking in my shirt so that is definitely something I do not like about this outfit.

Thursday

Very simple styling for a day of not feeling well. I went to an early appointment at Urgent Care for an ear infection. I had to take care of that before all of the going ons of graduation week and vacation trip. I also knew I couldn’t run a half marathon with a bad ear ache.

First day at the pool: only got my feet wet since I was dealing with my ear, but still was a very enjoyable time. I am wearing a thrifted hat and a bathing suit from Target (a couple years old).

Friday

Another really comfortable look with minimal styling. I didn’t add fancy earrings nor bracelets. It was a day of errands before a busy weekend.

A bientĂ´t!

You must have made some changes! This is the first time your photos showed up on my email without having to click into another browser opening. I follow you now per Jodie’s recommendation. Nice weeks looks, sorry about the ear infection.

It’s terrible when you don’t feel well. So glad you’re better!
Im so glad you got those silky sandals. I wore mine recently and just love them!
In fact I keep thinking I might get another pair because there are other prints.

      Love the flowy dresses!!

And four outfits for a day? I totally get that with our dog walking. We get up and put on our dog walking outfit then come home and change and then of course in the evening we have to change again to take her out!

      Xoxo

What a cute round up of outfits. I love that hat…it reminds me of that hairdresser to the stars who used to be on all the talk shows back in the day!

Earaches are the worst! I had an inner ear infection which gave me vertigo…something I’ve never had before and hope to never have again!

I know! The week after that, I had migraines and the following 10 days, I had the runs. I finally was back to normal mid week of our last week abroad. I think too much was going on at the end of the school year and my immune system was week. The hat is a fun one for sure!

Ugh, ear aches are terrible! Hope you’re feeling better. That colorful print dress is such a favorite; you look great in those maxi lengths that I don’t like on myself so it’s always fun to see you in them. I also really liked the way the tank and joggers look together.

I hadn’t gone to a doctor for being sick in some many years, but I had to. I do love me a maxi!

Hope the ear infection is clearing up. Love that Monday skirt and matching top and the striped Thursday dress is lovely.

    Get well soon 🙂

It did, but I did end up going to the doc, then the next week was migraines and the following was stomach issues. I finally got back to normal at the end of our trip!

This is a week of great outfits, Mireillel! Jodie is indeed a wonderful source of inspiration. Your maxis look cool and comfortable for the hot summer weather, and I love the crocheted skirt, it will transition nicely into fall. So sorry you have been under the weather and glad to hear you are feeling better, now. Hope you have a nice weekend and thanks for sharing all the great inspiration!
