Zebra Print Nine West Thrifted Dress

This cute zebra print dress needed a blog post of its own, so here we are. I thrifted it at Uptown Cheapskate (a consignment store with several locations around Atlanta) which has been my go to for dresses lately. I have found that they have a nice selection of brand name dresses in a variety of styles and prints. This one is Nine West and I think I spent around 13 dollars for it. The dresses I have bought there are usually between $10 and $20.

The cute print caught my eye right away and I was happy to see that it fit the way I thought it would. I always enjoy a halter style and to make the dress more appropriate for church and the cooler weather, I added my Halftee! I will be needing to buy another one soon in a different color or style! It is such a practical addition to your closet as it ends under the bust so you do not have to keep on pulling it down like you would a tank top. I wear mine in the size M.

I had forgotten the dress had a high/low hem with a ruffle. I think it is casual enough to be worn on a week day with sneakers and could be dressed up for a dinner out with heels and pretty gold jewelry!

I like how the scrunched up neckline looks like a necklace when paired with the halftee. I wore a pair of neutral clog sandals and while I have not desire to add clothes to my closet, I am itching for a couple pair of shoes. A pair of heeled clogs would be fun for fall!

Spring is the perfect time to wear all of your denim jackets and I have a quite a few. I chose this thrifted dark denim one which I have had for about 8-10 years. The collar and cuffing the sleeves keeps it modern.

It has been so much fun to add a thrifted piece to my outfit each day. I almost feel like I have too many clothes (almost, lol) as sometimes I have a hard time choosing a dress or a top because there are several I want to wear. I have to keep on rotating them.

This last picture gives a little more of a close up of my jewelry. I wore leather earrings and my “turquoise/white” cuff. After weeding out the accessories I didn’t like anymore, I have found that I wear the ones I have more.

Well, there you have it, a thrifted outfit but not head to toe like the last two months! I would estimate the whole look to be $80-90 including all of the jewelry. I think all of the accessories together cost more than the outfit itself.

A bientôt!
