Another Traveling Ouftit

I was all set to wear the outfit featured in this post  on the flight for our upcoming trip, but when I received this skirt from Halftee (I received a birthday gift from them and ordered this and a light sweatshirt), I changed my mind: it will be more practical for bathroom breaks and will give me a skirt option on the trip. This everyday skirt is so comfortable and stretchy and the color is so fun!

I paired it with the sandals and tank I was planning to wear with the jumpsuit and added a hand me down Lacoste long sleeve hoodie for warmth on the plane (tied around my waist. The sandals are versatile and will work with everything I have packed when not hiking.

The perfect everyday skirt is so awesome that I want another one or two. I am hoping for a black one and another colored one, but since I am not shopping right now, it will have to wait till I come back from vacation. Hopefully they will not be sold out since they are on clearance sale right now for $19.99. I envision the black one for our trip to the Republic of Georgia next summer, if that trip does materialize. We have been hoping to go back for several years, but the prices for our family of 6 have been a little steep.

I’ve been able to pack a week’s worth of clothes in this backpack minus my bathing suits which are in a small cube. I am hoping to add that cube to one of the boys’ backpacks as I hope to have 4 of us with backpacks and 2 with suitcases. As I need to do laundry this weekend for the boys, I will finalize the packing on Sunday. This past week, we have had company so it has been busy. Tomorrow morning, I am hosting a 50th birthday party and my uncle and aunt leave Sunday. I will be reviewing the backpack and what I packed in it when we return!
