Maxi Skirt and Bodysuit: A Day in Batumi, Georgia

I reached for this Amazon bodysuit several times on this trip. It is several years old and I probably need to buy it again, it is from the brand Mangopop. I tried it in white but did not like it, but I have worn this one over and over for several years. I love the square neck and the short sleeve length is perfect. Needless to say, it goes with everything!

The time we spent in Batumi was very relaxing. The Hilton had views of this park on one side and the Black Sea on the other. It was right off the Batumi Boulevard. The accomodations and amenities were really nice. We enjoyed the pool and the free snacks in the executive suite.

We were just a short distance from a Roman fortress, but as a reminder, driving in Batumi is not for the faint of heart. The GPS we use is an offline app so it doesn’t give accurate time of arrival, just the distance and how much time it should take barring no traffic. Since Batumi is a busy port and touristic town (very near Turkey), it is very busy.

One of the things I like about this skirt is the maxi length: plenty long, but I usually don’t trip in it unless I am going up and down steps, so while walking up to the ramparts in this fortress, I made sure to gather the skirt in my hand.

And the colors: I love anything with turquoise/teal and this is the prettiest print in my closet. I’ve worn it with purple, pink, black and white. Have I worn it with yellow or green? I am not sure, but the combinations are endless.

A bientôt!
