November Favorites
Today, I am sharing some of my highlights from the month of November. One of my favorite things is my morning coffee on my porch, admiring the trees (we back to some woods), enjoying the crisp air (we had quite a few mornings in the 30s and 40s) and enjoying the peace and quiet.
Fall Colors
Bike rides, walks, hikes, I enjoy all of these because I got to see some beautiful foliage all within 15 minutes of my house. One of the things I like about where I live is that there are several trails, parks and lakes within a 20 minute radius of my house. I usually bike in my neighborhood, but I did put my bike in my van one day to circle a loop 3 times to get 7.5 miles in. I visited the Indian Mounds with the boys (they had fun trying to catch the yellow leaves from that tree!).
Friends
I met Kathrine one day early November in Atlanta and my friend Rachel in Chattanooga for her book signing and book event. Those were definitely some friendship highlights for the month!
Christmas in Town
I love our downtown area at Christmas time and the boys and I went to dinner and ice cream one evening after the tree went up. It is so pretty! Our Christmas parade is the first week of December and I hope to go see the Nutcracker ballet with a friend.
Tulle Skirts
They still bring me joy! I wore my pink one to a baby shower and decided to wear my read one to church the same way I wore it the first time in 2023.
A bientôt!

What a fabulous November! It’s fun to see your fall colors now that ours are far behind us.

I can imagine you enjoy your morning coffee outside. I love that too, well not this time of the year outside. Such a relaxed way to start a day. We also have great cycke paths nearby. In the middle of nature!

This time of the year, I add a hat, a jacket and a blanket!

Coffee on your porch sounds lovely. I did this early morning with my tea when we were in Banff and had the mountain view.

How lovely to have your morning coffee on a porch! I was wondering: do you have to wear a coat? Can you have your coffee on your porch the whole year round?
And I love the red tule skirt!

I definitely have to wear a coat and hat and add a blanket on cold fall mornings (I would say a month or so of fall) and most winter days. It does get to about 0 degrees C and on the days that are colder than that I definitely drink my coffee inside. Especially once I put my tree up.

Lovely pics. An active month as always! We don’t get as much variety of colours in our fall trees in Epping Forest. Thanks for linking!

The colors don’t last long but they sure get very bright!

It was a good month! Of course, I am sharing only the good stuff but despite the stress of certain things, it was good!
