Since I did not purchase but one article of clothing my favorites for this month are a little different!

Kut from the Kloth denim Jacket

I have worn this jacket 5 to 6 times already this month: I held true to my no clothes shopping month after this planned purchase on the 1st of the month. The denim is soft and the cut is perfect. I sized up to a medium.

The Budget Mom budget by paycheck workbook

I shared this workbook last month. If you want to take charge of your finances, see where your money goes and start paying off your debt or do a better job of saving go follow The Budget Mom on YouTube, Instagram or go read her blog. She also has free worksheets you can download and print. I sure got a better idea this month of how much money we spend for Christmas and I will plan accordingly for next year, starting with a sinking fund dedicated to it where I will put aside some money each month. It was really interesting for me to see what percentage of our income each category too.

Family time

With a school break comes mornings sleeping in, more family time and fun outings.

We went to a nearby farm for their hayride at night: you can feed camel, see the Christmas lights and see some reindeers. The children were able to jump in the bouncy house and we took some fun pictures next to a beautiful tree and fake snow (bubbles).

We’ve made some fires in our firepit and roasted some marshmellows/

We went hiking with my nephews and sis in law at a nearby dam.

Grateful for my mom to be cancer free and feeling much better! 2019 big highlights were probably all of our summer adventures. To read a recap, head to this post and you can also search my France and Spain posts.

Looking forward to 2020 and more family trips as well as small weekend adventures. I will be sharing some of my goals for 2020 in my January Friday blog posts.
