My Christmas Outfit

This year my sis in law is hosting Christmas at her house as we have done it most years in the past. It is brunch style food and I will be making some crepes, some peanut butter chocolate bars and a pineapple pie. It is a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying each other’s company, food and kids opening presents. I usually end up getting hot in the house and the forecast temperature is a high of 68 so my Christmas outfit reflects the weather and laid back atmosphere.

Since I don’t have any green or red tops, I went for a silver/grey theme for top to bottom. I am wearing an old sliver threaded thrifted Loft top, a grey pair of ponte pants and grey booties.

I am wearing my new Gunmetal Nickel and Suede earrings. I have worn these a lot in the last month which is the reason I wanted a pair in this color.They are a great neutral!

Hopefully I will not forget to wear my Alison and Aubrey bracelet this holiday! I won this in a giveaway a couple of months ago. I won a necklace from another company a couple weeks ago that I am hoping to wear too but I am not sure if it has been shipped so my fall back is this silver 2 strand necklace.

The little sparkly touches in your outfit can change an everyday outfit into a festive outfit. While I wear my Nickel and Suede earrings everyday (I wear size medium), I don’t typically wear necklaces very often. Bracelets I wear more often in the spring and summer.

The little stud details on my grey boots are fun and since they are flat they will be practical for standing around during the day. I found these on sale last year at JCpenney when I was looking specifically for such boots. It always helps to have a plan when shopping online or in store: you are more likely to wear what you are purchasing versus impulse shopping.

I will not be posting on wil Wednedsay (Christmas) but will return to posting on Friday.
