My favorite spring shoes

Today, I wanted to share the shoes I reach for the most in the springtime. One of these is new while the others are a year old or so. I do not wear my sandals much until I get my nails painted sometime usually in April but with things the way they are now, I probably buy a bottle of nail polish (can you believe I don’t have any?) next week, and see how good of a job I can do on my own.

Burgundy Shoreline Converse

My favorite type of Converse is the Shoreline because I like not having to tie a shoe lace. Having a short shoe lace that is already knotted makes my life easier and I also do like how it looks. Shoe laces tend to loosen up and get untied and they get dirty. I have two pairs of Shoreline converse, a white pair in size 6 and 1/2 and this burgundy pair in size 7. The size 7 fits better (I do buy most of my shoes in size 7 nowadays). Of course being converse sneakers, they do not have any support but are fairly comfortable. I love them with jeans, joggers and skirts and dresses. They are a very versatile shoe!

Walmart white and leopard sneaker

I have featured these fashion sneakers in a post about my favorites and if you follow me on Instagram, you have seen many outfits where I wear these sneakers. At $16.97, these Time and Tru sneakers are a pretty awesome pair of sneakers with memory foam and a fun leopard stripe on the side. They fit true to size and I wear them in 6.5. They are quite often sold out but come back in stock every so often and there are a few other styles available. Right now I only see 2 styles, I did try the star sneakers and did not like them.

Target leopard wedge sandal

I just received these leopard wedge sandals in the mail last week (got them when they were 20% off) and know already that I will pair them with many different things this spring and summer. Yes, with being stuck home for the foreseable future, I probably won’t wear them as much as my fashion sneakers but I hope to wear them every so often to make myself feel good. I think they will look so cute with skirts, shorts and flowy pants. The leopard print will be an easy way to create outfits with some pattern mixing. They seem comfortable so I hope there will be no need to break them in.

Caslon Blush sneakers

These are a few years old but I am sure you can find a number of blush sneakers out there. I love that the color is enough of a neutral that you can pair it with a variety of colors.

What are your favorite pairs of shoes right now? With being stuck home, do you wear shoes around the house or just when you go out for a walk? I hope you all are coping well with the isolation and keep in touch with your friends. I am very thankful for my blogging community as well as my Instagrammer friends who bring a smile to my face everyday. Light hearted content and sunshine keep me going!
