Fall Beach Outfits: Thanksgiving 2020

We just got back from a week at the beach spending Thanksgiving together relaxing and enjoying the outdoors (as well as the indoors) since it was a beautiful sunny week. We decided to keep on with our last few years’ tradition of spending Thanksgiving at the beach albeit by ourselves this year and I have no regrets! It was good to get away and we all enjoyed a week of no worries. Today I am sharing my week’s outfits. The lows were in the mid 60s and the highs in the mid 70s.

This was my traveling outfit minus the flip flops and I left my plaid shirt at the condo. While I tell myself I should buy some graphic tees in other colors, my favorites are really the white and black ones.

I picked up this fun tee at Walmart at the beach: I couldn’t pass up the less than $6 price tag. And I have the same sign in my kitchen. I bought these camo skinny jeans at the recommendation of Kellyann of This Blonde Shopping Bag. They replaced a pair of camo pants I had that were too big and saggy.

Theme of this vacation week: graphic tees! Glad I was smart this year and brought some shorts! My denim shorts were very handy! Loved my Victoria Emerson bracelets this week. Picked it up on sale earlier in the month for less than $16 including shipping. I apologize but I am not linking anything in today’s post as I am short on time: coming back from a vacation is work: laundry, groceries, prepare for school: I even gave my 9 year old a haircut at 8 PM last night so we wouldn’t look like a wild boy at school.

Joggers were a great choice because of their lightweight fabric. And the perfect tee for the occasion!

This was the morning I looked at the weather for the wrong town: I couldn’t understand why it was at the high at 7 am. Well I figured it out fast and changed out of the leggings. The sweater though I did wear in the evening as well as on the drive home.

I always bring a couple layers just in case: it did get cool off in the evening at sunset and when we went looking for crabs.

I picked up this cute little camo crossbody clutch in Seaside. Sadly, I never did get back to the shop again. It was probably a good thing!

Remixing things is a good sign that you are wearing what you have in your closet. I wore the plaid shirt twice, the Ciao tee twice and the joggers twice.

I did get a tan on this vacay! My poor laces on these Adidas are looking so grungy that I ordered a new pair. It should give them a nice facelift!

Thanksgiving outfit: I love this skirt! I only wore it the afternoon but it made me feel dressed up even if I was not wearing shoes.

My motto for packing for a vacation is to bring things that I love and that are comfortable. That goes for shoes, and everything else. I did well this go around! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving whether at home or away.

A bientรดt!
