White Sundress, 5 Ways

I am enjoying this series this summer and I am sharing yet again a dress, this time, my Target sundress which I cannot find online anymore. As I am trying to rein in my spending these last 2 months of summer, I am working on creating different outfits with some of my favorite pieces.

With a graphic tee and white sneakers

This look was shared on the 4th for Ada and I’s Sunday Showcase and I also wore it on the actual 4th for church. I love how comfortable and summery this outfit is!

With leopard tee and brown sandals

This is a very similar outfit as above. Since I do not have a white maxi skirt or a any white skirt for that manner, I have been using this dress as a skirt!

Dressed up for church

This outfit I wore Pascha (Easter) this past May. I added my fancy sandals and a dressier layer as well as a pendant to make it more festive and fancy. Still a really comfortable outfit!

Flowy and free

Just a bracelet added for this outfit. It was the base for the following one.

With a rattan belt

Something Different

I tried something different with sneakers, a scarf, belt and hat: I thought this was kind of fun!

I have a few more ideas to style it:

  • with sneakers and a striped top
  • with a kimono with and without a belt
  • with a cardigan or a sweater

A bientĂ´t!

So versatile these kind of dresses! I love it! I always forget to wear a tee over a dress, it looks so great! Have a fabulous weekend!

I would have sworn that you were wearing a skirt in the first two photos if you hadn’t told us it was a dress! What a versatile piece of clothing to own and how creative you are to come up with so many different ways to style it.

Getting my money’s worth: it wasn’t on sale when I bought it so I am making sure I wear it a lot!

The white dress is lovely on its own but as you have shown with your clever styling so versatile. Styling it with the T shirts gives a whole new look . I may just borrow this look come our Summer.

It is also practical if a dress is a little low cut. I love doing it with jumpers in the winter too.

That is such a beautiful dress for summer and you layer it so well! I love it belted but you know adding tees over dresses is a favourite style trick of mine too! I love that option for covering up my shoulders better with a strappy sundress!

Hope you are having a nice weekend 🙂 We will be at home enjoying this rare summer-like warmth in the middle of winter 🙂

I’ve been wearing a lot more belts lately. The tees are so practical with sleeveless dresses. You are the one who taught me that!

Thanks, Jill! I am trying to be creative with my stuff and the scarf look was a last minute idea: was a good way to add something without getting too hot.

Oooh, Mireille, this is such a great dress! I do love a good white dress for the summer months and now that I am thinking about it, I don’t think I own a white maxi dress (I have lots of shorter ones though). I love all the ways you have styeld it! I am picturing it also with a beautiful bright kimono (belted or tied at the waist or left open). And I have yet to try the tee shirt over the dress style. I have to get on that soon!

The tee over a dress is really a practical way to make a dress into a skirt. Especially sleeveless dresses.

I got a couple more ideas from Jacqui for the fall. Probably will be another post idea in a couple months!
