Coastal Chic at the Beach in the Fall

I really liked all of the clothes and outfits I created for our beach trip (see my beach outfit recap post here) but thought that my Target linen pants deserved a post of their own. I originally picked these in white this summer but they were see through so I exchanged them for tan. I am so glad I did since I have many white pants but not tan ones. I wore these as a cover up (first 3 pictures) and then as an outfit.

Tan Pants as a Cover Up

I typically do not like to walk around in just my bathing so a pair of pull on wide leg pants is a perfect light weight option. I am very glad I upgraded two new bathing suits this fall before my 20th anniversary trip to Costa Rica: off season is a great time to find some new ones for less.

I think I picked the cover up at Target too but this was the first time I used it. I got a little sunburned one day so I wore this the rest of the afternoon.

I was ready to go home at the end of our week but now looking at those pictures I am ready to go back! Maybe my husband and I will come back for our anniversary trip next year. I am probably going to try to plan something closer to home though since it takes a good half a day to get here.

A Look for Everyday

I’ve been trying to make sure that my buys are good ones this year and these pants have been worn quite a lot. I may need to get them hemmed (or hem them myself) as they are long are the bottoms are getting rough.

My best friend Veronique who also created my blog logo and header made this cardigan for me 3 years ago. I miss her but thankfully we text weekly usually.

That’s it: my last beach related blog post! I guess I need to plan some fun outings for some more blog content?
