What I Wore: 2 week recap

After 40 days or so of shopping my closet, I went on a little bit of a shopping spree at TJmaxx and at the BrindleBoutique (for whom I have become an ambassador, discount code MIREILLE for 25%) with yard sale and gift money in hand right around Mother’s Day. I then decided it was time for another shopping break so I have high hopes to stay away from adding clothes through summer! No promises, but that is my goal! Today, I am sharing what I wore the past 2 weeks and indicating if something was a recent purchase. I love that I am wearing all those winter thrifted finds as well as those newer pieces.

Dresses

I tend to wear the enjoy wearing clothes following a theme, so I gave myself 3 days to wear similar things. That way, I am not bored of them, but take advantage of the variety. The first dress was thrifted last winter (Nine West) and since I was wearing it to the farmer’s market and church, I wore my Halftee to keep it dressed down and modest (code MIREILLE20 for 20% off). I had never paired my kimono with my old Target dress, so I thought the matching colors would be fun. Lastly, I wore my star tee over my white sundress for field day and a #wearitwednesday IG post featuring memorial day outfits.

Then it was time to rewear my thrifted dresses: a wrap dress for church (Ascension), a dress for my niece graduation and wearing my fun blue dress for church which was not thrifted but is a few years old!

Halter Tops

I have so many cute halter tops and haven’t worn them much yet, so here some that I wore in the past two weeks! Most were found on the clearance rack at TJMaxx last year for $3 each. I wore the first for honor’s night at the middle school, the 2nd for honor’s night at the high school.

Shorts

I actually don’t wear my shorts much in the summer because it gets too hot and uncomfortable in the car and it gives bugs more access to bite me, so I thought it would be a good time to wear them before it gets too hot! Our spring has been mild and it has been lovely to sit on the porch most of the day. The newest piece here (everything else is at least one year old or more) is the orange top.

Skirts

I also had to throw in a couple skirts outfits because I am all about variety! It helps me love my closet to see all the variety of outfits I can create. The royal blue top was one of those TjMaxx find and I know it will be worn a lot as it is one of my favorite colors.
