5 Ways to Wear a Pair of Printed Asymetrical Pants
After realizing I was always wearing these thrifted navy asymetrical pants the same way (with white or navy on top), I decided to think a little more outside the box and share my ideas with you. While I still shop, I really like to get the most out of my clothes and coming up with different combinations entices me to wear certain pieces more often. Of course, you can apply these ideas to any fun printed pants or skirt.
With a Bright Color
Jodie (Jtouchfostyle) suggested yellow which I know I will pair with it soon (I’ve done yellow a lot with my two navy jumpsuits) which made me think of another bright color and this blouse. I think the pants would be fun with orange too.
With White
This is the easiest combo and I love my white graphic tee for this reason: they look awesome with anything.
With Stripes
I have a number of striped shirts and I had not worn this one in a while. I like that the stripes are more subtle (I think it is a grey stripe) and the fun details on the shoulders. TjMaxx has always been a great source for me for interesting tops and this one is probably 4 to 5 years old now.
With Something Out of the Ordinary
I thought this look would be fun! I wore my lace halftee and my son’s prom vest since I do not have a vest. I wear my Halftees in size medium and you can use the code MIREILLE20 for 20% off your purchase. This lace one is a lot of fun!
Monochrome Look
This picture is a year or 2 old and is a reminder that monochrome looks are effortless and classic. I actually often forget to try to wear monochrome looks, but my favorite is probably white. I did do bright fuschia once (see post here).
Do you always wear your printed pants/skirts the same way, or do you try new things? Let me know in the comments!

I always love a monochrome look, however blue and pink is also a beautiful combination!

Yes, that pink and navy surprised me!

Cute pants! I especially love them with the hot pink top – I’ll have to try that color combo myself.

Absolutely fabulous with switching it up this way Mireille.
It goes to show that our clothes are so much more versatile than we think I love that you borrowed your son’s vest and the print mixing is perfect.

It’s really fun! Today, I searched my closet to copy a look that KellyAnn copied from Pinterest and I like it so much, I am going to use it for a blog post!

These are great ways to style a pair of printed pants! I love the versatility and a good reminder that clothes can be worn in many ways. I forget that sometimes. But I am also a creature of habit and like to wear something the same.

I need to think monochrome more often.

Pairing prints with bright colors is a favorite of mine. I can see these pants with bright green, yellow, orange, aqua, etc. But I think it would also look great with more muted colors too…light pink, wine/burgundy, lavender…I am gravitating toward the softer shades of red, I guess, haha. I love that we can treat a navy and white print (or other two tone neutral print) as a solid and wear just about anything with it!
mimifce
Yes, I think all of those would work! Navy is a great neutral.

The pants go with so many things! I love the bright pink top, a perfect companion to navy blue. Thanks for linking.

I thought so too!

Love the pink and the mixed pattern outfit with the subtly striped top. It ‘reads’ gray to me and looks very pretty with your coloring. But that pink is truly lovely on you, too. Fun pair of pants. I had a skirt and vest outfit one time in college that these pants reminded me of. It was my very first boutique-ish outfit. Felt like a fancy lady in it.

I’ve always loved grey! These are a fun pair of pants to wear.
Mica Away From The Blue
They are fun pants on you and you wear them so well, it is hard to pick a favourite! I do always have a soft spot for blue and pink though. I think oranges and reds and greens would work well with these pants too! 🙂

I really enjoy having pant options for the hot month that are not denim.
