Monochromatic Fuschia Look

This past month, I entered a few giveaways and I was very happy to win a $100 giveway from I’ll have what she’s wearing! It actually took me a minute to decide what I wanted to get as there were a number of things that caught my eye. One of the first pieces I chose was this fuschia top with a v-neck. I wore it with a denim skirt for a reel and have another idea for a July post but today, I thought it would be fun to share a bright monochromatic look.

My son and I went to the “duck pond” to take some pictures and I have a little adventure to share about my pictures. First of all, there was a family around and I felt a little conspicuous taking pictures. Before even taking the first picture, I thought something fell on me. I didn’t discover what had happened till just before we drove off.

My little fuschia shorts are an old printed pair from Old Navy (I kept this one and a orange pair), the Michael Kors purse a hand me down and my sandals are a comfortable pair of Steve Madden I found at DSW a year or so ago. The bracelet I found at an estate sale a couple years ago. I was very impressed with how the different tones of fuschia worked together.

To continue our adventure, my son and I got in the car to head towards the gym. I felt my ear and realized “Oh no, where is my earring? Did we take all of these pictures with just one earring?”. Yes, we did! Neither of us wanted to retake the pictures so I am sorry these are not the best they could be. But where was the earring?

I remembered hearing the strange sound of something falling and realized it must have been my earring. I headed that way and saw it on the ground ahead of me but had to jump in surprise (and a little fright). There was a long snake in the dirt! I jumped over him, got my earring and circled around him to get back to the car.

That was my blogging adventure for the day. I really like how this top flows and how simple it is so it will be very versatile. I love the color and I am glad I chose it!
