7 Day Skirt Challenge with Is This Mutton

I love participating in Gail’s (Is This Mutton) fall skirt challenge because it gets me out of my denim fall-back in autumn. I love the idea of wearing all my clothes more, so this challenge is a great opportunity to try some new combos using what I have in my closet. Everything is old apart from the tulle skirt which I purchased early November.

What can I say? I absolutely love this skirt: I featured it in this blog post for an early fall look while at the beach and I plan to wear it for Christmas in an edgy look. I want another tulle skirt now!

I’ve had this leopard maxi skirt for years and it gets worn the most during the cold months. I have worn it before with this sweater, but I never added this faux leather jacket with it. A jacket was needed on this cold windy fall day.

It’s all about the layers! I love how neutrals tones like this light tan never go out of style and look really classy. These two pieces were bought from 2 different places at different times in the past year and just work perfectly together. I was cozy in this outfit!

My mom and mom in law loved this outfit! I am all about the Caite and Kyla pieces with the pretty embroidery. The sweater skirt was thrifted last year or the year before. I wore this to do some Christmas shopping for the kids and I.

One of my favorite places to shop is TJmaxx, because of all of the variety you can find as well as the good deals. I found this tweed skirt there last year or the year before. I tend to wear it with leggings because of the length. Now that I bought one of those fleeced lined pair of tights from Amazon, I will try them with this skirt.

This picture doesn’t do my cozy skirt from Halftee (MIREILLE20 for 20%) justice, but it does show its stretchiness. I have it in an aubergine color in the S. Here I am wearing the medium size which fits well too. This was a very casual look which turned out to be very comfortable.
