Outfit Details: Bringing your Outfit to the Next Level

While I buy some simple pieces here and there and I like my classic denim, when I buy tops and sweaters, I like to buy pieces that have a little bit of a detail that elevates the garment. It could be texture, a sleeve detail, embroidery or like in this case, an embelishment.

The sweater itself is very simple with a crewneck and a loose fit (I bought it in size L). When I tried it on, I loved the fun sleeves with the cutouts and the pearls. Because the embelishments are not at the neck, the sweater is still very versatile. I can wear a scarf with it or a pendant necklace. It can be worn with pants or skirts.

Again, the scarf has details that make it stand out: the color scheme is just gorgeous and the fringe appropriate (not to much, not too little).

I hadn’t worn my embroidered booties in a while, and the colors mirror my scarf. I added some Maggie Snaps to shorten the length of the pants. I did have issues with the magnets on one leg sticking the other one on the other leg, so I ended up removing them.

The gentleman at the Indian Mounds was sweet when I told him I was taking blog pictures. He told me I look like a movie start and he felt like he needed my autograph.
