7 Days of Skirts: Spring 2024 Edition
I enjoy creating this post every fall and spring because it inspires me to shop my closet and wear my skirts in a new way! Some of these skirts are many years old while others are from the past year, some are thrifted, some are retail, but all have a special place in my closet.
Modcloth skirt -circa 2018-19
This skirt is still one of my favorite and I always find a new way to style it. Today, it’s with a simple tee and a belt. I added a necklace from my aunt and my white sneakers: you will see that I tend to wear sneakers with skirts and dresses in the spring.
Thrifted Tropical Skirt
I think I found this asymetrical skirt for $3 at Goodwill last year. The fun print caught my eye and the built in slip made it more modest (that slit is high). It has enough colors to make it versatile and I thought it would be fun with stripes. I added a jacket for church in case I got cold since this was taken late March.
Denim Skirt- Discount Store Gabe’s
This outfit was inspired by one of KellyAnn’s daily outfits. Simple, comfortable and perfect for a day of errands.
Church Outfit with a Maxi Skirt
This year’s purchase at Belk: the skirt is a little on the long side so I sometimes flip it at the waist once so I do not trip on it. I tried to keep a monochromatic tone to it with the navy tops and light colored sneakers.
Tulle Skirt 2023
Oh, how much I love this skirt! I have found so many different ways to wear it and after seeing someone style a tulle skirt with a white denim jacket, I decided to replicate that look for Sunday church.
Cargo Skirt
You just saw this skirt last Monday, so I will refer you to that post here!
Sari Wrap Skirt
This beautiful double sided skirt will have its own post soon, but I wanted to share it here: I wore it yesterday for church and I cannot wait to show you how it can be styled as a dress, a kimono, and many more ways!
A bientôt!

All of the skirts are beautiful, Mireille, I don’t think I have a favourite – but perhaps it’s the first one as it’s basically yellow which is such a happy colour. Like you I do love skirts 🙂

Yes! Sometimes I forget how much I like mine so a little challenge like this is perfect to pull them out.

I did chose my favorite ones to wear!

I think all of these skirts are fabulous. It surprises me that more women don’t wear them especially around here in AZ.
Great job on print mixing too.

I really do enjoy wearing them. And I need to make sure to include one or two a week in my daily outfits.

I think you do such a good job with setting yourself these challenges. I may try that later this year. I love that tulle skirt! Where did you get it?

The skirt was from Cato’s around Christmas but I saw some very similar ones on Amazon.

I love this series and I love all of these skirts. They are all so different. The Modcloth skirt caught my eye on Instagram. Those vibrant colors!! But seeing all of the outfits here, I also really like the striped tee and sandals with the tropical skirt. Great pattern mixing, very fun. And your tulle skirt is so flirty and feminine. The cargo skirt reminds me that I have one similar that hits just above my knee. Need to dust it off. And I need to show my dneim skirt some love. You put together a darling imitation of Kellyann’s recent looks. Bravo!!

So many cute skirt oufits! My favorite is the stunning print mix of stripes + tropical print; love it with the denim jacket and the striped sandals.
