Spring Favorites: Style Edition
I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite outfits I wore this spring. I always feel very proud of myself when I shop my closet, combining thrifted finds with retail finds or when I realize that a purchase was a great one because I love it and wear it repeatedly.
I absolutely love the color of this top! I found it on clearance at Belk and wasn’t sure about it at first because of the sleeves. Turns out they are overwhelming and they are kind of fun. Another retail purchase was these denim pants and wanting to bring in spring, I wore sandals for the first time.
Since I do not keep a spreadsheet with my clothing purchases, I am not always sure when something was bought. I often time calculate it with whether it was bought before or after we moved into this house. This Liz Clairborne denim jacket was thrifted before we moved here, so it is at least 6 years old. The Nine West dress was thrifted last year. Because it was a cold spring day, I wore my sneakers even though I got a pedicure that morning.
I am wearing the same pair of earrings as in the first outfit, but in a different color. A local lady makes them from thrifted fabrics and such. They are just perfect for spring! I was inspired on IG to pair black with yellow. I love how soft these jeans are!
I loved this outfit so much I wanted to take blog pictures of it, but I had so many blog post scheduled that it would be nearly summer before I would publish it. So I am sharing it here! I love this thrifted kimono, and I am so happy to have a little more brown in my closet with this bodysuit. I have been trying to complete my outfits with a belt when I can and this thrifted one is one I reach for often.
Same pair of denim as the first outfit: they are perfect for spring! I keep a few open weave sweaters for spring and cool summer nights: I love a sweater with shorts and this fun royal blue one just is perfect for a sunny day. White sneakers are a staple in my closet. I have a back up pair of these because I love them so much.
A bientôt!

You have come up with some really lovely spring outfits! I’m still waiting for spring weather to arrive and dreaming of what I can wear once it starts warming up.

The weather here has been a little crazy but more pretty days than not.

I don’t keep a spreadsheet either but going by certain events like that is smart.
I love that white jeans look and that last one is my favorite.

The black and yellow color scheme is atypical for spring but looks wonderful, and of course the butterfly earrings are perfect with it!

Yes! I really that combo!

I always love it when I return my summer clothes in my closet. It feels like you just shopped some new items. I like statement sleeves a lot, great top. And the denim jacket! Always good!

Exactly!

All terrific looks but girl, that thrifted dress paired with the thrifted denim jacket are so cute. My favorite look is the kimono, though. So flirty with that ruffle around the edge. Love the blue-gray background color against your brown top. I haven’t tried a bodysuit since….hmmmm, middle school? Been tempted to try them again. Your brown one was a great find. I am inspired to break out my kimonos again.

I love that zebra dress.

All of these looks are fabulous! I really like the one with the thrifted kimono, but I’m seriously jealous that you have all these photos backed up! Yay, you!

I’m very impressed that you have so many outfit posts scheduled!! I need to get back into that. The weather’s been so bad it puts me off. Some lovely pieces, particularly the stunning aqua tee and yellow pants. Thanks for linking.

I really try to take advantage of when inspiration strikes and when my sons are willing to take pictures. I am now all set for the month of May apart from a picture here and there to add to a post.
