Thrifted White Cowboy Boots: Summer to Fall Look

While I was visiting Jodie in Arizona this past spring I kept my eyes out for a pair of cowboy boots, but we didn’t come across any. So this summer, when she stumbled upon this pair in our size, she asked me if I wanted them. She tried them to make sure they were comfortable and sent me a picture to see if I like them. With the okay from me, she bought them and shipped them to me: I thought that $30 was a good deal as the ones I have seen second hand here have been a lot more so far and not in my size.

When I put on this outfit to photograph it (by the way, it was super humid and by the end of the picture the back of my shirt was completely wet), my husband commented on how cute I looked. I agree with how fun and cute this outfit is! I probably wouldn’t wear this in the summer, but early fall as it is too hot here.

I keep sunglasses in my car, and this is that pair. I like the big frames and the color is different than my others. Just like readers, I have found that I need a pair of sunglasses wherever I am. I actually just found a pair of reader I didn’t remember I had and this summer I even bought a pair of sunglasses readers. I am always double checking that they are with me. I cannot read my phone screen without them, nor books or menus.

My necklace is a souvenir from the Republic of Georgia and continues that boho feel from the top. I wore that top last on the blog here, in the cotton fields. I love it when I come across an embroidered piece of clothing like this!

My bag is also a second hand find: there is a little shop in town with booths where people sell antiques, some eclectic clothing and some nick nacks. I often find a little something. So I try not to visit that store when I am having a shopping break. One booth carries Western things that the lady brings back from New Mexico/Arizona and she always has some cool pieces.

I have so many ideas on how to wear these boots this fall and have several posts ready to go! I cannot wait for nice cool weather!
