Fall Outfit with Clara SunWoo Liquid Leather Pants

A few weeks ago, I took about 20 minutes out of a busy day to drive down the street with my oldest to take some pictures in the cotton fields. The fields were ready to be picked so I wanted to take advantage before this pretty sight disappeared. Thankfully, I had the idea for this post planned out, so it was just a matter of throwing this outfit on for some pictures.

The idea started with wanting to style my liquid leather pants with neutrals. You can read more about them and see more styling inspiration in this post. I absolutely love how easy these pants are to pull on and how the sheen is there but not in your face.

The embroidered top was a clearance find at TJMaxx this summer. I love how detailed it is and how it has that boho feel that I love. The tan hues make it a versatile piece. The booties are my oldest pair that I never have replaced because I haven’t found a better pair. The low shaft is just perfect. The heel is worn and the inside is not the most comfortable anymore, but until I find a equivalent pair, I will reach for these.

I even wore a pair of neutral earrings: these were made from dominoes and I bought them on a trip to New Orleans. I have this oyster pair and a pair with butterflies on a blue background.

I haven’t used the snakeskin clutch in real life (I shared it 2 months ago, my mom got it in Africa 50+ years ago) but it really complements this outfit.

As I continue to prioritize shopping my closet, I am really getting a clearer idea of what my favorite style is. I do like to try different things and have a variety of pieces in my closet, some classic, some boho, some a little more edgy, but I am realizing how much the fit, fabric and details in a piece make a different on how much I wear and how I feel in it.
