Bohemian Dream: A Spring Trend Favorite
I have always loved embroidery, flow maxi skirts and dresses, crochet and tassels. So when I saw that one of the 2025 spring trends was titled bohemian dream, I knew I had to put together a fun boho inspired outfit. I had been wanting to update my white peasant skirt for a while (I had one for years from Old Navy and had to get rid of it a few years ago) and the one my mom gave me last year was fine, but a little tight. After some online searching, I found one that I liked at Francesca’s and headed to the mall.
I called ahead to make sure they had it in sizes XS and S and asked if they would honor the online sales price of $36. The skirt has tassels which is a favorite detail of mine, but I felt like it still needed a slip under it even though it is lined. I walked the mall and checked Aerie and a few other stores before making a decision and grabbed the skirt in XS.
My crochet vest was a thrift find last year and of course, you have seen my cowboy boots over the years on the blog. I think this outfit fits the bohemian dream quite well!
I chose accessories in different variations of tan and brown and chose that day to switch my navy purse to this fun mix media one. Having reorganized my purses and toppers at the beginning of spring has been great for reminding me to wear all the things!
I have been moving things around in my closet to inspire me to wear certain things. I have found that things being at the forefront and reorganized helps me reach for different things. For example, my wide leg flowy pants usually are in the back of one row of clothes. I moved them behind my vests and now I don’t forget about them. I shared my new layout in a blog post recently, here.

I really like it! I have 3 more ways coming up in a few weeks. I reach for it often which is great since I wasn’t 100% about it when I got it.

Very boho!
I like the tassels, but I doubt I’d be able to wear them here, der Dekan would go nuts from the temptation to play with them (as I played with the tassels on my grandma’s tablecloth when I was a kid ;-))!

That is so funny! I sure can see cats thinking of the tassels as toys!

When you know you love a certain style, it’s smart to track it down with the details that you love. This skirt is so fabulous, and I know you can wear it so many ways.

With the light neutral color scheme, this look is the perfect combination of boho dream and coastal chic! The tassels are a fun touch on the skirt.
