Zebra Blazer: 3 Ways
At some point this summer, I took one of my friends thrifting in my town. We first visited my favorite thrift store and then before heading to my house for lunch, we stopped by the little community thrift store downtown which sells clothes for $1, $2 and $3. Pants, shorts, skirts and tops are $1 while bulkier items like vests, blazers and jackets are $2 and $3. I wasn’t planning to buy anything, but the print of this jacket caught my eye and I couldn’t pass it up. It’s a thicker material, more jacket-like than blazer-like, but I will be wearing it the same ways I would style a blazer, therefore I am calling it a blazer.
With a Dress

I decided to have a little fun to make this simple navy dress more interesting. The zebra print definitely adds some interest. I added a black and white scarf and twisted it to make it thinner. In the fall, I usually keep a few pairs flip flops handy for a quick shoe to grab for outdoors, so these are a pair I reach for regularly.

Over a White Column

I love the pop of color from the shoe! Seeing the contrast between it and the jacket, it is giving some great ideas for what to try with the jacket. I do love it over the white and I have a number of white articles of clothing that I can pair it with.

With Jeans and a Graphic Tee

This might be my most worn combination for a blazer especially a printed one. It always looks fresh with denim and a graphic tee.

How would you style this jacket? Would you add something like this to your closet?

And zebra is trending right now, so that was an incredible buy. I just LOVE it with the jeans and the column of white.

What a great thrift shop find! I love the bold zebra print and all of the animal prints are right on trend now. I can hardly believe you find 1, 2 and three dollar items thrift shopping, that is amazing! Love all three looks showing just how versatile a bold statement jacket can be. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration. Hope you have nice rest of the week and weekend!

I am very lucky that there are 2 affordable thrift store in town with usually pretty good selection. This one I don’t find much there often, but it is a very small shop.
