Bright Pink and Purple: Outfit Inspiration
I had a little fun thrifting outing a couple weeks ago, and even though I had a little list in mind, I didn’t find any of those items. However, a few bright sweaters jumped at me, and after trying them out, 3 came home with me. All of them were in the pink/purple family, so I decided to share them here with a little outfit inspiration.
Monochrome Purple
I couldn’t believe how perfect the color match was with my purple blazer and my dress (as well as my leather earrings), so this is where these two outfits came in. I wore one on grocery day and the other for church.
Fuchsia Cutout Sweater
I shared the sweater last week with navy, but my original idea was to pair it with a floral skirt and boots. I added matching earrings and wore this to church. I added my tulle overlay under the skirt for more coverage as the slit is really high. Of course, all of these sweaters will be great with denim too! I can imagine them with olive pants and skirts as well. They are a nice departure from all of my grey, white and blue sweaters!
Oversize Bubblegum Pink Two Ways
This oversized pink Talbot sweater caught my eye because it felt soft and I knew it would work with a lot in my closet. Each of the sweaters ranged for 3 to 5 dollars. I wore the second look a couple Saturdays ago: lunch with my parents, a visit to a museum and church. I wore the overlay dress over camo pants: funny story: at first I had the tulle overlay unpinned, so my mom thought I wasn’t wearing any pants. So I got a little creative and gathered the front with a rubber band and tucked it into a belt under the sweater. It allowed the camo pants to peek through so people would know I wasn’t wearing a see through dress with nothing under. I really like how the outfit turned out!

That last outfit is fantastic Mireille. I love the punky vibe it gives me. Fantastic sweaters, great colours.

These are all such pretty shades on you and I love how you somehow landed up with pieces of similar colors! I LOVE the first one, especially the second outfit with it with the dress and brown accessories.

I was surprised that everything I found that day was in the same color family. I need to wear the sweaters again this week!

I will try that one again with a different bottom: I am donated that jumpsuit, but I do like the color pairing.
