Scarves: 2025 Looks
There are many types of scarves: silk scarves, pashmina, blanket scarves, infinity, rectangle… Some are said to be out while others are preferred. Today, I am sharing 3 scarves and I tried to create modern looks with them. I am not sure if I succeeded but I did enjoy wearing each outfits. Warm winter scarves come in handy on cold winter days and add a touch of coziness, warmth and interest.
Multicolored Thrifted Scarf
When I saw this fun, colorful scarf when thrifting in the fall, I couldn’t pass it up from $2. It is not particularly thick or warm, but is perfect with my velvet bodysuit. Since the bodysuit is very fitted, I like to wear something over it and a scarf adds that coverage while still letting the bodysuit shine. I chose my pink combat shoes and pink earrings to continue with the colorful palette.
Infinity Scarf
Infinity scarves are not as popular nowadays, but I have a couple winter ones that I enjoy wearing: they are so easy to wear because they do not need to be adjusted during the day. I wanted to create a modern look, so I decided to wear my Clara Sunwoo liquid leather pants, a thrifted tunic and brown boots. I thought about wearing black boots, but the brown combat boots create an edgier look.
Large Scarf and Tweed Mini
I thought I would show some variety and since I had not worn this tweed mini since last year, it was time to pull it out. To stay warm, I added my fleece lined tights and to prevent the outfit from being too sweet, I wore my fur lined combat boots. In reality, I also wore my down jacket while I walked up to pick up my youngest from school. The wind adds some windchill to the ambient temperature.
I think I’ve already worn my scarves more this winter than last… I wonder if that is a forecast of how cold it will be! The outfit below was a spur of the moment outfit: I hadn’t planned to add a scarf but since it was windy I did and I loved how this turned out: might be my favorite of all of these!

I feel like I have been wearing lots of scarves this winter too! I mean I usually do when I go outside but I’m even wearing them inside this year. All these looks are fabulous.

Thanks, Joanne! It’s been fun to wear them, adds a little variety!

I only wear scarves when I wear a coat or a denim jacket. But they do add so much more to a outfit!

Yes, it’s that little extra.

I love that outfit with the infinity scarf! I love them and hope they come back into fashion soon. They are just so easy to wear. I have so many scarves because they’re just so easy to pick up and change the look of an outfit! Loved your bonus look, too!

The infinity ones are definitely the easiest to wear: you don’t have to fuss with them!

I own a few scarves but haven’t worn them as part of an outfit for awhile. Haven’t even used winter scarves since I try to limit my time outside lol.

I know I haven’t worn my spring ones much the last few years, so we will see how much I wear those. This was nice though this year, it was cold enough to wear the winter ones.

You are the scarf queen! I love every single look. I tend to get really hot which is why I dont’ wear them. That last look is my fave!

I feel like there are just a few weeks in the year where it feels cold enough to wear my winter ones, so I took advantage this year!

I am definitely a big fan of scarves, and love all of yours! I wear scarves to complement my outfits most of the year, except on hot humid days, and also for warmth outdoors with my coats in cold weather. They are truly a versatile accessory. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a good week!

There is one lady of IG that I follow and she is from Georgia too (so similar weather as me), and she has the cutest outfits with them.

Girl, I love all of these looks. My fave is probably the mini skirt, scarf, tights and jacket. I am big chested and always feel like scarves give me bulk where I need NONE. Nancy and Shelbee are doing a good buy, goodbye scarf edition. You should join in!!

I sent a pic to Nancy! I think how you wear the scarf makes a difference as to whether it emphasizes the chest!

These are cute outfits! Love the point in the first outfit that a scarf can act as a sort of third piece to provide a bit of coverage over a more body con silhouette without being as high coverage as a topper layer. Of course I am a scarf fanatic so I approve of all these scarf looks!
mimifce
Yes! It helps with bodysuits and such.

I have lots of scarbes in my wardrobe – and I also eco-print silk and wool scarves with leaves for sale at a few art markets. Lovely to “meet” you. Thankyou for visiting my blog this week. Enjoy your weekend ahead.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I think that is wonderful that you create scarves for art markets. Have you shared the process on your blog before?
